How the PMP Growth Summit comes together

By

May 2, 2025

This year marks the eighth Pest Management Professional (PMP) Growth Summit. Since 2017, leaders of pest control companies with revenue of $1 million or more spend two-and-a-half days at the Reunion Resort & Golf Club in Kissimmee, Fla. PMP welcomed 14 partner companies to help 33 attendees from 28 companies grow in 2025 and beyond.

The group networked with pest control colleagues and partner company representatives, shared their business and pest control knowledge, and learned from one another.

Here’s how the PMP Growth Summit comes together:

Day 1:

Everyone receives a welcome packet with a brochure featuring the agenda and short biographies of fellow attendees. They also receive a personalized schedule for meetings held throughout the event.

Meet the partners presentations

PMP Growth Summit pest control company attendees gather in the ballroom, where PMP Publisher Marty Whitford welcomes them to the event. He shows a video from previous PMP Growth Summits, highlighting what they can expect from the event. Next, representatives from the 14 partner companies showcase their products and services in five-minute intervals. One by one, they share what attendees can expect to hear from them when they meet up over the following two days.

Attendees have the opportunity to connect with partner companies in the privacy of a hotel suite, where they can ask questions, check out products, test-drive services and make connections that have the potential to boost revenue and attract and retain customers.

Golf outing and non-golfer luncheon

Conversations from the Partner Meetings continue during a scramble on the golf course designed by PGA legend Tom Watson. Beverage carts are courtesy of CSI. Although a thunderstorm briefly interrupts the game, nearly all golfers return to the course to finish once it’s safe to do so. Non-golfers are treated to lunch at the Reunion Resort & Golf Club restaurant, The Clubhouse.

Dinner reception

The evening comes to a close at the resort’s Seven Eagles Pool, where dinner and drinks, courtesy of J.T. Eaton, are served. Winners of the golf scramble are announced, and several attendees keep the competition going with a friendly game of cornhole.

Day 3:

Roundtable breakfast

The final day of the PMP Growth Summit gets off to an early start with a breakfast buffet in the ballroom, courtesy of PelGar USA, and time for more candid business discussions. Questions remain the same as the day before, featuring topics about bed bugs, customers, employees, marketing, obstacles and opportunities and rodents.
